Built with a selected spruce top and flamed maple back, sides, and neck, this model provides clear projection and a naturally resonant, vibrant tone. The ebony fingerboard, pegs, and tailpiece ensure durability, smooth tuning, and comfortable playability.
The tonewood used in this instrument has been carefully selected and naturally aged for over 20 years, allowing the violin to open up beautifully with warmth, clarity, and responsiveness. Finished with high-quality German oil or spirit varnish, it has a classic, elegant appearance and excellent acoustic protection.
Its voice is delicate yet powerful, making the Academy Violin a strong choice for students preparing for youth orchestras, school ensembles, and private-lesson progression.

Hora violins are 100% made in Romania in our factory. The wood materials, spruce and maple, are harvested from Romanian Carpathians Mountains, carefully selected and naturally seasoned for many years. Carpathians spruce and maple has a tonal clarity and level of consistency rarely found in other tonewoods. The quality of the craftmanship is assured by our skilled workers in a factory with more than 70 years tradition in building wooden instruments.
