Florys Violin Studio

Rochester Hills, Michigan | Online & In-Person Lessons

Accepting dedicated students through audition and interview.

The Vision

Learning the violin is far more than an exercise in notes and technique. It is the cultivation of discipline, emotional awareness, confidence, resilience, and artistic identity.

In this studio, music is approached not simply as a skill, but as a powerful tool for life. Every student who enters this space becomes part of an artistic legacy, which is why I believe teaching must go far beyond technical instruction alone.

My role as an educator is to create a focused, supportive, and inspiring environment where students can grow both musically and personally. Together, we solve creative challenges, build strong foundations, and steadily develop each student’s unique voice, whether the goal is professional training or a deeply meaningful creative journey.

The Philosophy

The lessons learned through violin study extend far beyond the instrument itself. Music teaches patience, discipline, emotional expression, balance, perseverance, and presence.

As both an active orchestral performer and educator, I often connect musical concepts to everyday life, because music exists everywhere: in rhythm, emotion, communication, tension, movement, and human connection.

In this studio, we work seriously, laugh often, celebrate progress, and build lasting habits from the very beginning. I believe in protecting a student’s creativity while guiding them toward confidence, discipline, and artistic excellence.

Studio Enrollment & Structure

To maintain a high level of individual attention and mentorship, studio placement is limited.

The Artistic Evaluation

Admission begins with a complimentary 20-minute audition and consultation. This is not about perfection, but about understanding the student’s goals, personality, commitment level, and artistic potential in order to ensure the right fit.

Customized Learning

Lesson structure is tailored to each student’s age, level, learning style, and long-term goals. Technical development, musical interpretation, confidence-building, and repertoire selection are approached individually rather than through a one-size-fits-all system.
