Handmade entirely by Marian Marcel, the master luthier of Hora, this violin represents the highest level of craftsmanship in the workshop. Built with meticulous attention to detail, traditional carving techniques, and decades of expertise, the Master Violin delivers a refined, expressive, and highly responsive playing experience.

Crafted from selected old spruce for the top and highly flamed, naturally aged maple for the back, sides, and neck, this instrument offers exceptional resonance, depth, and tonal purity. The finest ebony fingerboard, pegs, and tailpiece ensure stability, durability, and professional-level feel.

The tonewood used for this violin has been carefully chosen and naturally aged for over 20 years, allowing the instrument to speak with maturity, warmth, and a powerful, singing quality. Finished with premium German oil and spirit varnishes, the violin displays a rich, classic aesthetic that enhances both beauty and acoustic response.

Equipped with Larsen Il Cannone Soloist strings, the Master Violin delivers a soft yet highly projected tone, with rich overtones, balanced response, and dynamic flexibility across all four strings. This is a Stradivarius-style copy, known for its brilliance, clarity, and refined core sound.

Hora violins are 100% made in Romania in our factory. The wood materials, spruce and maple, are harvested from Romanian Carpathians Mountains, carefully selected and naturally seasoned for many years. Carpathians spruce and maple has a tonal clarity and level of consistency rarely found in other tonewoods. The quality of the craftmanship is assured by our skilled workers in a factory with more than 70 years tradition in building wooden instruments.
