Handcrafted under the supervision of Marian Marcel, the master luthier at Hora, this instrument is made by his trained apprentices using traditional techniques and carefully selected tonewood.

Built with a selected old spruce top and highly flamed maple back, sides, and neck, the violin offers excellent projection, depth, and tonal clarity. The finest ebony fingerboard, pegs, tailpiece, and chinrest ensure stability, smooth playability, and a refined finish.

Each piece of tonewood has been naturally aged for over 20 years, allowing the instrument to develop a rich, mature, and open sound. Finished with quality German oil and spirit varnishes, the violin has a classic, elegant appearance and a durable protective coat.

This model comes equipped with Larsen Il Cannone Soloist set of strings, enhancing its powerful, balanced tone across all registers. The result is a violin with projection and expressive character—ideal for advancing students, dedicated performers, and serious musicians seeking a reliable, high-quality instrument.

This is a Guarneri-style copy, known for its deeper core, strong presence, and flexibility in both solo and ensemble playing.

Hora violins are 100% made in Romania in our factory. The wood materials, spruce and maple, are harvested from Romanian Carpathians Mountains, carefully selected and naturally seasoned for many years. Carpathians spruce and maple has a tonal clarity and level of consistency rarely found in other tonewoods. The quality of the craftmanship is assured by our skilled workers in a factory with more than 70 years tradition in building wooden instruments.
